How good is your support system?

An integral part of a great job search campaign…is your support system.  Consider the following checklist to confirm that you have established a good support system to undergird your job search:

Personal Evaluation

1. Personal physical fitness reflected in appearance (keys sleep and exercise)

2. Emotional wellbeing including energy, alertness, calmness, enthusiastic

3. A soul that if free from fear, anger, bitterness, un-forgiveness, inferiority…

4. Mental preparedness to include goals, vision, and desired impact in the workplace

5. Person of faith? Meditate on Scriptures like Philippians 4:6…

 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”


Friends, Family, Coworkers, References

1. Stay connected… Do not become a hermit

2. Nurture friendships as a way of life – a rich and “always” responsibility

 Church, Synagogue, Place of Worship

 Job Networking Groups
